Hey everyone, so I’ve been messing around with this watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime, and I gotta say, it’s pretty neat. I mean, it’s got that classic look, you know? Reminds me of those old-school watches my grandpa used to wear. But this one’s got some cool features that I found myself needing recently, so I went ahead and ordered one.
First off, I started by just getting it on my wrist. It’s a bit bigger than what I’m used to, 45 mm, but it feels solid. Not too heavy, though. And it looks really good.
Then, I started playing around with the buttons. This thing is a chronograph, which basically means it’s a stopwatch too. I pressed the top button, and the second hand started moving. Pressed it again, and it stopped. The bottom button resets it. Pretty straightforward.
- Click the top button to start the timer.
- Click it again to stop.
- And the bottom one resets everything back to zero.
Now, this watch has these little dials too, called subdials. I figured out that one of them shows the minutes for the stopwatch, and another shows the hours. So you can time things for a long time, not just seconds.
I decided to test it out. I timed myself making coffee this morning. Started the chronograph when I put the water on, and stopped it when the coffee was ready. It took about 5 minutes, which I could see on the little minute dial. It’s actually pretty handy, I can use this for my driving trips, work meetings and so on.
I also noticed that this watch has a date window. It’s small, but it’s there. I set the date by pulling out the crown, which is the little knob on the side, and turning it. It clicked into place, and I pushed it back in.
Using it in Daily Life
So, I’ve been wearing this CopyOMEGA for a few days now. I used the chronograph to time my workouts at the gym, and I even timed how long it took me to drive to work. It’s kind of fun, and it makes me feel a bit like a race car driver or something, even though I’m just in traffic, haha.
Honestly, I think this watch is pretty cool. It’s not just a regular watch, it’s like a little tool on your wrist. And it looks good, too. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it already. If you’re looking for a new watch, and you want something that’s more than just a basic timepiece, you might want to check this one out. It’s like, a classic with a bit of extra, you know?
I heard some people say it’s a watch for “serious collectors,” but I don’t know about that. It’s just a nice watch that does what it says. No need to be a “serious collector” to like a good watch.
