Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these “High imitation Rolex Two-tone Black Submariner Official flagship store” things pop up all over the place lately. And I thought, “Hmm, I gotta check this out.” So, I did some digging.
First, I went to a few of those places that sell these high imitation watches. They are all over the place now, you know? I went into one of those stores that’s named something like ”Joyera Bazzi 1960″ or whatever. I pretended to be interested in one of those “Rolex” watches. You wouldn’t believe how real they look.
I even tried on this one, a Two-tone Black Submariner. The guy in the store, he was going on and on about how it’s “just like the real thing” and that many people can’t tell the difference.
- I started asking about the details, you know, the little things.
- Like, where’s the serial number?
- He showed me, said it’s on the rehaut or behind the bracelet.
- He even said that it’s the same as the real Rolex.
I acted all impressed, but inside, I was thinking, “This is crazy.” These things are getting so good, it’s kinda scary.
Then, I did some more research online. I found out that there are only about 1,500 of the real Rolex Submariner Military watches, and only a few hundred are still around. And these imitation places are making copies of those, too! They call them “Full Spec 5517 Rolex Submariner Military” or something like that.
I spent hours comparing pictures of the real ones and these high imitations.
Honestly, some of them are so close, it’s hard to tell them apart. Especially in pictures, or if you don’t know much about watches, it’s really hard to tell.
After all that, I decided to try and buy one. Just to see what the whole process was like. I found a store, and you can negotiate the price, you know? They start high, but you can talk them down. I ended up getting one for a fraction of what a real Rolex would cost.
When I got it, I took it to a real watch guy I know. I didn’t tell him it was a fake at first. I just asked him to take a look at it. He looked at it real close, and he even said it was a nice watch at first.
But then, he started noticing the little things. The weight wasn’t quite right. The movement inside wasn’t as smooth as a real Rolex. And some of the markings, they were just a tiny bit off.
So, here’s the deal:
These high imitation Rolex Two-tone Black Submariner watches, they’re pretty convincing. Especially if you just want the look. But if you really look close, you can tell they’re not the real deal. The weight, the movement, the tiny details, they give it away. And, of course, it’s not made of real gold. Even if you don’t know much about watches, a real watchmaker can tell the difference.
But, if you’re okay with that, and you just want something that looks like a Rolex without spending a ton of money, then maybe these are for you. Just be careful, and make sure you know what you’re getting into. And don’t try to pass it off as a real one, okay? That’s not cool.
