Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar watch. I wouldn’t call myself a watch expert or anything, but I like nice things, and this watch? It’s pretty darn nice. I’ve been wearing it around, showing it off a little, and trying to figure out all its bells and whistles.
First off, I went to a specialty store to try it on and get the feel for it. They had a few different models there. I think there were three of these Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar ones. I played around with them for a while.
I’ve been wearing it out and about, and I gotta say, it’s got this classic vibe that I’m really digging. It’s not super flashy, but you can tell it’s a quality piece. It’s got that moon phase thing at the top, which is kind of cool, and the whole perpetual calendar setup.
This thing is thin, man. Like, really thin. It’s only 9.4mm thick, which is wild for a watch with all this stuff going on inside. It’s 39mm across, so it’s not huge on my wrist, but it’s definitely noticeable. And from one end of the strap to the other, it’s about 45.7mm. Fits pretty comfortably, I’d say.
From what people are saying, these watches can be kind of pricey. But I also heard that some of them, especially the limited edition or older ones, might actually be worth more later on. I’m not really thinking about selling it, though. I like it too much. But it’s kind of cool to think about, you know?
I did a little digging to see if mine was the real deal, and apparently, the only surefire way to know is to take it to a jeweler who knows their stuff. They can check it out and tell you for sure. I might do that, just to be safe.
